Jake loves treats, and these are at the top of his list.

As if the furkids didn’t have enough treats, I found some more good ones.

Natural Gourmet Beef Recipe Rolls are in a 10-ounce bag with a sticker proclaiming “Made in the U.S.A.” on its front. I found these at Trader Joe’s, where I do not ordinarily shop, for $4.99.

The rolls should be broken in half for small dogs, but a furkid 40 pounds or more could eat a whole one.

Jake recognizes the bag, and I have to hide it. Otherwise he will sit on the floor beneath the kitchen counter and nag me for one.

If he could talk, I’m sure he would tell me to shop at Trader Joe’s regularly.
